The Leader’s Character

In Chapter 3, the textbook author Craig Johnson discusses important virtues for leaders (courage, grit, temperance, wisdom and prudence, justice, optimism, integrity, humility, and compassion). Describe someone who you consider to be an exemplary leader using at least three of these virtues listed in the text. Describe your experience with this leader and the context (employment – Seaview golf resort hotel). How did the leader demonstrate these virtues and make her/him more sensitive to ethical issues? What did you learn about the character from this individual? Did your experience with this leader impact your own character development? If so, how? What did you learn about yourself from your experience with leader?
