USA Political System: Role of Citizens

Pretend that you are explaining the U.S. political system to someone from another country who has no existing knowledge of our government. Describe the U.S. political system in 12-15 minutes. Describe the role of citizens (including popular sovereignty, voting rights, and civil liberties).
