Progressives believed that industrialization and urbanization were negatively affecting American life. They were mostly middle-class idealists who promoted reform and government regulation in order to ensure social justice.
In no less than 250 words, describe and discuss whether reform movements in general improve American society and politics and how they do or do not obtain such improvement.
