definitions/cultural constructs

In this paper you will use the definitions/cultural constructs of the American Dream from Cullens book to identify, describe, and analyze the ways these constructs are used in two political speeches delivered from 2001 to the present.
Your paper should include a brief descriptive overview and historical context for each speech, a description of specific constructs used in each speech, and an analysis of (a) how those constructs are used to advance the argument of the speaker and (b) the similarities and differences in the ways each speaker defines the American Dream. This is interpretive research and while there are answers that are clearly wrong, there is no one right answer. Your interpretation/argument should be supported with evidence, including quotations, from both Cullen, the speeches, and other primary sources related to the American Dream frameworks we have been examining (for example, the Declaration of Independence).
