look at the list of fallacies hand out below then apply any of them that best suites the 3 different social media example comments / circled that’s also attached below

Social media is full of these fallacies – your own social media feeds are very likely to have some examples.  So, your task is to find 3 examples of these fallacies in your social media feeds.  The easiest way to do this is to look at what the people you know (or even you!) posted or commented, rather than look for problems in articles posted. 

Do this for each of the 3 examples:

1. Copy and paste the comment/post in question

2. Write down and explain the logical fallacy that you’re going to apply is (e.g. ad hominem – the person is attacked instead of what they say)

3. Explain why you think the comment can be said to be guilty of that logical fallacy. (e.g. Joe’s comment is an ad hominem because…)
