Capstone Project: The capstone project, constituting 50% of your grade, will also be cumulative and will involve you analyzing a feature film using at least two of the theories discussed in class. These projects will be presented the last week of class, November 11 and 13, 2020. The final papers will be due November 19, 2020 at 11:59pm ET. The capstone project will be completed in a series of stages. 1) Topical overview and annotated reference list of ten scholarly references related to the project (5) 2) Detailed reviews of five articles from the reference list (5) 3) Draft problem statement and identification of an appropriate theoretical framework to address the problem (5) 4) Draft introduction, historical and theoretical context and literature review (5) ~ 4 ~ 5) Identify and justify use of appropriate methods (and data collection if required) (5) 6) Draft data analysis results and interpretation (5) 7) Presentation of capstone project (10) 8) Final draft of completed paper (10)
