Bloom’s Taxonomy–Literature Application
1. Select a book of your choice.
2. From this book, create a detailed lesson plan on how you would teach Bloom’s six level hiearchy to a college level class. Your goal is to deepen student’s critical thinking skills via the information, themes and lessons from your book.
3. Include specific discussion questions and activities to further explain each of Bloom’s six levels. Plan your lesson for a 90 minute class period.
Project Requirements and Formatting:
Written, spoken or videoed projects are to be a “minimum” of 600 words, and a “maximum” of 900 words.
Written projects are to be double-spaced.
Written projects are to utilize Microsoft Word (convert Apple documents to a .pdf or .rtf format).
Written projects are to incorporate twelve-point font and black ink.
Written projects are to include a one-inch margin at the top, bottom and sides of the page.
Written projects are only to include the students name and project number at the top left of the page.
Written projects are to be free of grammatical and spelling errors.
Written projects are to incorporate appropriate paragraphs.
Recorded, videoed or written projects are to be carefully proofread before they are submitted.
Recorded, videoed or written projects are to use proper citations and references and include MLA, ASA, or APA documentation styles.
