The following are sub-questions are the be used as guides as to what the overall response should contain. Dont answer each question individually, they are only components of the total response. Please include all references used.

1.    Identify the various types of recovery funding.
2.    Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the various forms of recovery financing.
3.    Describe the key governmental roles that must be performed during disaster recovery.
4.    What is the role of the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) and emergency management staff after a disaster?
5.    How might a disaster affect local government staff roles and responsibilities?
6.    What do elected officials need to know about disaster recovery? Where can they get educated?
7.    Describe the pros and cons of an emergent-norm vs. bureaucratic approach to understanding recovery.
8.    Describe some of the challenges and inefficiencies that hamper inter-governmental disaster recovery efforts.
9.    Identify and discuss possible disaster recovery subject matter experts found on local governments staffs. Discuss who should be a part of the Long-Term Recovery Committee.
10.    Identify some of the key legal functions performed by attorneys during disaster recovery.
